I remember writing for May that I felt like I hadn’t read enough… Well, here I am, with June over and… Well, let’s just say this doesn’t feally like it’s been the greatest reading month either. We’ll just blame exams, shall we? My 2018 reading updates June update!

And should anyone have been keeping track: that makes for a grand total of 100 books read this year! 100!! That’s what I’d hoped to read in the entire year!! Aaaaaaaah!

What I thought

Well, first of all, I’m thinking that I should probably go ahead and get some updates for my Challenges online. I mean, I don’t think I’ve even updated them for my reading log since, like, February? Maybe March or April? Either way – that’s on my to do-list for this summer, you can be assured!

So, there’s two fanfictions on this list, and that’s been a while… (Yes, I’m proud of that!) I also had one group of students read “marketing related books” – so naturally I made sure to read all of them as well… That would explain the first large portion of this month’s list. And of course, then there’s a couple of fun reads. Like The Summer Getaway – that one was basically the perfect summer read. And I still (just like last month!) really love Holly Bourne’s books.

All in all I’d say June was somewhat of a succesful month, although not quite in the way I had anticipated or hoped for. I would quite have liked for there to be a little more fun reading and a little less “obligated” reading. But oh well, that’s the month of June for you, right?

So here’s my question to you: we’re about halfway through the year… How’s your reading been? Are you right on track? Way ahead? Or lagging behind a bit? Be sure to let me know below!
