2017 Reading Challenges: May Update
As you may have noticed, I didn’t get to last month’s post in this series. Oops? In my defense, almost no reading was done. And school was seriously kicking my butt. So, you know… Sorry? Anyways, here’s my 2017 Reading Challenges May Update!
1. Books I read
So what books and/or fanfictions did I read in the last two months? Not all that many, actually… But hey, I’m still ahead of my Goodreads Reading Challenge, so at least there’s that, right? 🙂
- The Last Time We Say Goodbye, Cynthia Hand
- The Rosie Effect, Graeme Simsion
- Schoolslag: gedichten, Herman de Coninck
- De hectaren van het geheugen, Herman de Coninck
- Vingerafdrukken: gedichten, Herman de Coninck
- Dat gebied waar mensen zijn, Guido Gezelle
- Leaves of Grass, Walt Whitman
- Return to You, Kate Perry
- All for You, Kate Perry
- Wrapped in You, Kate Perry
- Just One Day, Gayle Forman
- Just One Year, Gayle Forman
- To Shape and Change, Blueowl (FF)
- Just One Night, Gayle Forman
- Close to You, Kate Perry
- Girl Online on Tour, Zoe Sugg
- Girl Online Going Solo, Zoe Sugg
- Looking for You, Kate Perry
- Harry Potter and the New Chance, EmlynMara (FF)
- One Feeling, E4mj (FF)
- Human Stupidity Has No Limits, CrazyDuck5280 (FF)
- Partially Kissed Hero, Perfect Lionheart (FF)
- Flame from the Underground, Shinigami Ace (FF)
- Blood Ties, marksmom (FF)
Looking at it like that, it does look like kind of a lot of books. However, the first two were DNF’s, and any book followed by (FF) is a Fanfiction. Sure, one of those nears about 1000 pages, but there’s also some of under 100 pages. I guess reading is reading? And almost all of this reading? Totally done in April 🙂
2. Reading Challenges
Any book that wasn’t marked with FF counted for my Goodreads Challenge, so I’m starting to feel that I probably underestimated my April-reading quite a bit. None the less, I only managed to get a couple of other reading challenges-prompts dealt with this month. Better luck in June I’d say, but let’s be realistic. It’ll be work for summer break, probably 🙂
