Bookish Naughty or Nice Tag

So it’s been a while since I last did a tag – and then I came across this one over at Jenn’s blog, and figured: why not? After all – I’m quite curious to see whether I’m on the bookish naughty or nice list, this year!

Received an ARC and not reviewed it

As of my writing this? Technically – yes. I’m working on it though, and I’ll get to them all. Eventually. Hopefully. (looks around worried)

Have less than 60% feedback rating on Netgalley

94%! And aiming for 100%, although that’ll probably never happen – after all, it would require me to stop requesting new ARCs 🙂

Rated a book on goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did)

Nope. I just don’t promise any reviews ever.

Folded down the page of a book

To the point that I ripped the page, I’m afraid. Let’s just pretend that never happened, shall we?

Accidentally spilled on a book

Nope – although my sister did spill on a lot of my books. There’s a reason I don’t let her borrow any anymore!

DNF a book this year

Absolutely. And by the way, I take offence to the implication that DNF’ing a book would get me on the naughty list.

Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it

Not that I can remember? Then again, I spend too much money on books as is, I’m not about to spend it on books I’ll never even open.

Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else (like homework)

Only all the time – to the point that my parents had to check my bags for books anytime I went out for a “study session”. not even joking

Skim read a book

Does “not reading a book at all and just knowing what happened based on the classes I took on it because having to read for school is the fastest way to make me never want to read it at all” count? No, okay, then not.

Completely missed your Goodreads goal

Nope. Seventh year in a row of making it!

Borrowed a book and not returned it

Again: something I don’t do, but that has happened to me a lot. I mean, I’m on my 4th copy of Perks of Being a Wallflower.

In all honesty, though, I probably would do it – which is probably why I don’t borrow anyone’s books ever. I don’t want to be that person.

Broke a book buying ban

Can you break a book buying ban if you’ve never imposed one? I mean, it’s more so a matter of “I have no self control so I just know I wouldn’t be able to keep it up”. But, again: technically? No, I’ve never broken a book buying ban…

Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Yes.

Wrote in a book you were reading

It was for school! Sometimes I had to! And sometimes, especially in nonfiction books, it just made it easier to keep focused. But sure, I’ll take this one.

Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads

Nope.

Borrowed a book and not returned it to a friend

See my previous answer – I’m not risking that.

Dodged someone asking if they can borrow a book

Yes? Because, again: people don’t give back my stuff! My fourth copy of Perks of Being a Wallflower, okay? The fourth!

Broke the spine of someone else’s book

You have to read someone else’s books in order to break its spine, right?

Took the jacket off a book to protect it and ended up making it more damaged

Paperbacks all the way! They don’t have a jacket 😀

(Let’s just completely ignore the fact that I completely ruin all my books by dragging them with me wherever I go)

Sat on a book accidentally

Probably. I mean, it’s basically a running gag between me and the bf that, whatever I’ve lost this time – my phone, my wallet, a pen, the tv remote controller… I’m probably sitting on it. So: in all likelihood yes. I just don’t remember it.

Total score: 8/20

I only got 8 yesses – that means I’m on the nice list, right? Right? Anyway, I’m not going to tag anyone, but if you want to do this tag, or if you’ve already done it, just let me know below, okay
