My Christmas Movies TBS
Here’s one of the main things I love about Netflix: it gives me more options for Christmas movies. That isn’t necessarily a positive thing when it means I end up just watching nothing because I just couldn’t make my mind up… Which is exactly where this list comes up: in my Christmas bucket list, I put myself the “goal” of watching at least 2 Christmas movies per week. The goal is to have at least half of those come from this list. You know, so that, whenever I can’t decide? I just have to check this Christmas Movies TBS!
1. The Christmas Chronicles
New on Netflix and the story seems both Christmas-sy and exciting enough to catch my attention when I’m not in the mood for something overly romantic!
2. Eloise at Christmas Time
A classic for me, this is one of those movies I re-watch every single Christmas periods. Basically, what Home Alone is for some people? This one is for me!
3. Elf
Yes, I know – disgrace on me! I still haven’t seen this one… But I’m determined to change that this year. Maybe. Who knows, really? 🙂
4. Christmas in Connecticut
I was going to watch this one last year… And then life just kind of happened? Either way, I do want to get to this one… It really does sound like just the right amount of classic, and, who knows… It might grow to be a new favourite?
5. Miracle on 34th Street
This version, the original version from the 30s… As long as it’ts this magical story about all things magically Christmas? I’m here for it!
6. The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
I love the ballet, and I’ve already seen the ballet of the Nutcracker twice. I’ve seen the Barbie-version of this story, a couple of taped versions of the ballet. I’ve read the book… Basically, I’ve just loved everything concerning this story. So it’s only natural that I want to see this movie as well, right?
7. White Christmas
Some classics are just that good. This is one of them. And I do have the DVD lying around, so anytime I’m up for an early night in bed with my laptop and a hot cocoa? This is basically what I’m planning on watching!
8. The Holiday Calendar
Yes, we’re starting and finishing this list with Netflix. As it should be. Also – I just love the concept of this!
But of course, I’m always open for suggestions – what Christmas movies would you recommend? Be sure to let me know below! And of course, feel free to check out the rest of my Christmas posts as well as this year’s blogmas!
