What I Got for Christmas 2016
I promise you I’m not trying to brag, I just love reading these types of posts – I guess I’m just naturally too curious? Anyways, if you feel like you might be offended by this post, let me just ask you to stop reading now…
Otherwise: read on to find out what I got for Christmas 2016!

1.Books
a. The Complete works of Shakespeare – which is actually rather perfect, because one of my goals for this year is to read the complete works of William Shakespeare! My sister has perfect timing 🙂
b. The Book Thief (Markus Zusak) – last time I read this one, I started ugly-crying on the train back home. That’s how much I loved it. I’m also one of those persons that, in general, doesn’t usually buy books unless I already know I love them (or will love them) so I figured Christmas was just the perfect moment to ask for this one 🙂
c. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them – the Screenplay – can we just appreciate how well my sisters know me? I mean, come on, I loved this movie and I wished I could read it again. So of course when I got this one, I was slightly overly happy 🙂
d. Some more books that are on their way – gotta love the bf who made sure to make sure that I got gifts after Christmas as well (and yes, I’m actually one of those people who loves that!). All that I know is that they’re on their way, but quite frankly, I’m just happy I’m getting more books!
e. Book coupon – because more books, obviously. Basically, my entire family knows me too well, I guess?
2. Big things
f. Eau de toilette and shower gell combo – and let me just start out by telling you: this stuff smells divine. Like, seriously, at one point throughout the night I found myself literally smelling my wrist, just because I liked the smell so much! Also, I finished my previous eau de toilette a couple of weeks earlier (and I’d been postponing buying new one :p ) so yet again, my family proved to me how well they know me 🙂
g. Blender – the good kind. I got my previous blender exactly a year ago and I basically used it so often (to the point where twice a day was actually quite normal) that I broke the on/off button. So yeah, there’s that. Anyways, I got a new one, and I’m both really looking forward to using it (it looks so pretty!) and to hopefully not breaking it 8 months in, this time 🙂
3. Cute things
h. The best book tote ever – I mean, seriously, just look at it!
i. Stockings – because a girl can never have too many of those, right?
j. Candy – because I have exams coming up and God knows I’m gonna need it!
k. Hand warmers – because I’m obviously typical and basically freezing all the time :p
l. Playing cards – have you ever heard of the game Canasta? If not, look it up and fall in love, it’s basically the best thing ever 🙂
m. The cutest Christmas hat ever – it’s gorgeous!
n. The most thoughtful hot cocoa set – we did Secret Santa with our class and I got this amazing hot cocoa set – four types of chocolate, the cutest glass mug à nd a coaster, as well as a bookmark with an amazing story. Naturally, I’ve been using it just about every day 🙂
So there you have it, that’s what I got for Christmas 🙂 I hope you had a great festive period, that you’re really looking forward to the New Year, and that you got everything your heart desired. One last time: Happy Holidays!
