More random facts about me

Also known as: in the last 7 days, on three separate occasions people have told me something I do is weird. So I realised that apparently, there’s quite a couple of random facts about me – and why not share them with the group? 🙂

1. I love maths

In highschool, I took 8 hours of maths a week. The fun thing about math is that there’s just about always a solution. And even if there isn’t one? Well, then that is the solution. Whether it’s applied problems or algebra, or statistics? I love it. I mean, come on, I’m tutoring maths, just because I miss it too much on a day to day basis!

2. I cannot sit still

It doesn’t matter where I am or what I’m doing – some part of me is always moving. Whether I’m tapping my fingers, shaking my foot, or I’m just moving along to the rhythm of a song that’s stuck in my head? I’m not sitting still. This goes even in my sleep, by the way – there’s been nights where I woke up with my feet where my head was when I fell asleep, and vice versa. The weirdest thing is, that’s happened multiple times – and I don’t even know how I did it, because this was in a one-person-bed. How did I turn? How did I take my pillow with me, but not my blanket? The real questions of life that I’ll probably never get an answer for.

3. I love water

Or more specifically: I’m always thirsty. I’ve got days where I can easily drink up to 4 liters of water, just because I’m thirsty all the time. I’ve been this way for about as long as I can remember, but still. Is that even healthy anymore?

4. My diet consists of 95% fruit and vegetables

The other 5% is divided equally among chips, ice cream and other unhealthy stuff.

I mean, that’s not technically mathematically correct, but still. I’ll easily eat 7 or 8 different types of vegetables a day, just because I like to have a variation of colours, tastes and structures on my plate. So, you know, a lunch that consists of avocado, broccoli, spinach, Brussels sprouts, tomato, zuchinni, cucumber and then some? Pretty standard in my books!

5. My dream job as a kid was…

Either to be a teacher (it’s basically a genetic defect, at this point), a secretary (because, pens, for some reason?), or to have a day-nursery. I don’t know exactly what that says about me, but there you have it none the less!

So, those are some more random facts about me – did you know any of these about me? Do you think I’m a total rando now? (I feel as if the maths-thing might have done it for some people?) Be sure to let me know below!
