Monthly Updates #12: April: Favourite Bloggers

It took me a while, but finally we’ve reached a fifth Saturday of the month!
Now, as I promised, this means a bonus round, and I have to admit: I had some trouble figuring out exactly what to do this one about!
However, of course, I did figure it out!
The reason I originally finally gathered the courage to start writing this blog was just reading so many others, finding so many favourite bloggers, and realising that I wanted to do it badly enough that I didn’t actually care all that much about the chance that I might fail – a big step for me, let me tell you!

Of course, I’ve since definitely kept reading many blogs, and so here are some of my favourites!

1. Overstuffed

I originally found Lara from Overstuffed through a pin of one of her Summer Reading Posts – basically: she has three daughters, and she gifts them books every summer – can I get in on that?
I stayed, however, because I (literally, and I was supposed to be studying too, so you know it had to have been good!) read the entirety of her blog – like, every single post – in 2 weeks. There’s over 1000 posts there, and they paint such an amazing picture of their family – and then, of course, there’s the amount of tutorials, book ideas, and just other awesomeness – definitely a blog to go check out, if you haven’t already!

2. Blair Blogs

I honestly don’t even remember how I first encountered Blair’s blog, I only know that she was the second blog I ever followed. She’s an amazing girl / woman, she has an adorable dog, and she writes amazing posts about anything from food-inspiration to some more recent posts about her move to their first home with her husband.
Quite recently, she even started a podcast, and although I haven’t quite had the time yet to listen to all of them, those I have listened to definitely were worth my time!

3. Kayla Blogs

Another blog I first ran into while on Pinterest – Kayla is, just like me, currently in college and has written quite some helpful posts pertaining to anything from how to study to fun music to study with.
What’s more: she also likes planners – and we all know I have a slight obsession with those! – and she posts very regularly, which is always good for someone like me, who’s constantly in need of more reading material!

4. In a Bookish World

I know, I’m just as shocked as you are that there’s only 1 bookish blog on here – on the other hand, I do follow quite some bookvloggers, booklrs and bookstagrammers, so maybe I just get my fix from that?

Melissa from In a Bookish World actually lives pretty close to me (but then again, when compared to Australia, the entirety of Europe and some of Asia and Africa lives close to me!) so it’s always awesome to see her maybe do a haul about a place I might also have been at. Also, she’s been posting a lot of tags lately (and even tagged me in one) and I’ve been having a ton of fun reading those 🙂

And then, of course, there’s just the plain old fact that she has excellent taste in books, and as such has given my TBR quite some additions – always a good thing in my book! (geddit? book? never mind, I guess)

5. A Beautiful Mess

This blog has all sorts of posts concerning crafts, style, food-inspiration, home-decor, and just basically anything else you could wish for.
But, to be completely honest? I basically started out following this one just because it has such happy colours – just going to the site seemed to make me happy, and then the posts, of course, only helped that further along!

So there you have it, 5 of my favourite blogs! Do you know of any other, similar, blogs I could / should go follow? What’s your favourite blog? Be sure to let me know below!
